This site-specific installation was created for the Warsaw Spectra office building.
Its centre is a composition of white shirts, a symbol of order, of a certain lifestyle, high culture and organization. At the same time, the centre is a point of juncture for countless threads, the symbolic building blocks of that orderliness.
The threads diverge or converge from all directions in a seemingly
chaotic way – ultimately, however, showing certain order.
Any attempts to impose standards and rules are meant to fix our life into the complex world we live in. Chaos theory, which also relates to social phenomena, tells us that all chaos is simultaneously an order, all depending on the scale in which it is observed. The seemingly chaotic structure reveals an order hidden on another level.
